It was with great shock & sadness to read online about the passing of Mike. I first met Mike in 1978 when we both worked together and from that moment until the last time I saw him in 2008, he was unchanged. Mike was one of the most kind, honest, hardworking, conscientious, caring and commonsense people you could ever wish to meet. My heartfelt and sincere condolences go out to Jenny and all other family members. I give thanks to God for allowing me to have had the privilege to have known Mike, and for his life which impacted so many people. Stoke on Trent will be poorer for his loss but, heaven will be enriched by it. God bless you Mike and rest now in peace,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Tony Cooper.
PS I now live in America and so I will not be able to be there in person at the funeral but, I will be there in spirit.
